There is no Temple in Jerusalem, so we are not under obligation to come to Jerusalem. After The Temple is rebuilt all Jewish people will be required to come to the Temple 3 times a year Pesach, Shavuot and Sukkot.

Some do. Some don't.
It IS a pilgrimage holiday, and many people will make the pilgrimage during that time out of a sense of tradition. After all, every seder ends with the wish "Next year in Jerusalem".
That would probably be the ONE.

Some do, some don't. Whilst the Temple is not standing it is not necessary to make a pilgrimage to Jerusalem for the three foot festivals (including Passover).

i'm a Jew residing in Israel and that i'm able to inform you there is not safer place for Jews than in Israel. Israel has respectable kin with Egypt and Jordan. Syria and Lebanon are complicated, yet decrease than administration. existence in Israel is great - appealing united states of america, surprising place to stay. we've not got intense costs of crime as in many different places; we've a surprising climate and actual freedom of religion. As for the attack on Gaza - it became completely justified by ability of the ten,000 rockets fired at us from Gaza. simply by conflict, this rocket hearth has come close to being eradicated. by ability of assessment - Jews are being attacked in France, Germany, England, etc.

Some do some do not. It may depend on how religious they are I do not know. We belonged to the Orthodox Synagogue but had no money to go to Israel.
